Sure stirring up long forgotten things!

Been trying to find a picture of how we moved with our gear and could only find this Homefront Security Poster from the beginning of the war. Notice how the hammock was lashed around the duffle bag. This system ended quickly and we moved into bunks on chains that could be raised in the daytime! And in my young and innocent (HAH!) days, I had a seaman white stripe on my RIGHT arm, (all ‘topside’ ratings) whereas engineer and below decks types wore a RED stripe on their left.
